10 am - 7 pm
East End Climate Action Network (eeCAN) will host a full-day launch event in August to build awareness about sustainability, renewable energy and climate change resiliency.
Activities will include environment-themed games for kids, small “teach-in” circles with sustainability experts, a showcase of local and national green businesses and earth-inspired artwork. Food from local eco-friendly restaurants and an organic farm stand will be available throughout the day and the late afternoon will feature a live music performance.
There will be opportunities for folks to get more involved in local sustainability and climate change efforts, including solar energy consultations, beach clean-ups and membership sign-up for locally-acting environmental groups.
Please be thinking about how you would like to help with this event and contact us!
