Saturday 24th October from 9 am to 5 pm at Epsom Methodist Scout Hall
Following the success of our Bike Amnesty last year—which saw over 65 bikes refurbished by Active Surrey and gifted to those in need—eeCAN is proud to announce an even bigger event in partnership with Relove Technology, Community Calling, and Surrey's recycling contractor Suez. On Saturday 24th October, from 9 am to 5 pm, you can bring your unwanted bikes and tech to the Epsom Methodist Scout Hall for responsible rehoming and recycling.
Relove technicians will be on-site to perform secure, certified data-wiping, using industry-approved software.
Relove Technology, a certified B Corp, operates a circular business model where they recover, refurbish and reuse mobile technology products reducing e-waste and making technology accessible to all. Their award-winning processes ensure that every device is fully tested, graded and securely cleared of data to the highest industry standards. Every device is handled with absolute security and care. Items that can’t be restored are harvested for parts and processed at Relove’s accredited facilities.
The value from your donated tech will help eeCAN lead more community projects and also the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell's charity aims.
So start gathering your spare bikes and unused tech. Our partners at FULL CYCLE are even offering a raffle prize of up to £100 in cycle maintenance training.
Before you arrive, we recommend backing up your data and signing out of cloud accounts, but don't worry if you need help—our expert team will be there to assist you.
Join us this October to give your unwanted items a second life, reduce your carbon footprint, and support a more sustainable community.
